Bush Tales

Communication between animals is extremely important to ensure their survival and so they have adapted many different wonderful ways of relaying information amongst each other. Humans are no exception to this rule and one way we have learned to communicate is through stories.

Storytelling has been a fundamental and deeply ingrained part of daily life for centuries in South Africa and so has helped us get closer to the world around us and is used as a tool to understand things like nature.

Here you will find a few short stories from the people who spend their day out in the bush and explain the things they come across in the Waterberg valleys and mountains.
